Role Overview
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company’s financial operations. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, from daily accounting and payroll management to financial reporting, audits, and system improvements. Your expertise will support informed decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health and efficiency of the organization.

Your mission:

• Daily accounting operations. Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.  

• Capex and payroll accounting. Handle accounting for capital expenditures (Capex) and payroll, ensuring correct data management, capitalization, amortization, and payroll processing.

• Accruals and closing: Prepare month-end and year-end accruals, keeping financial records accurate and up to date.

• Reconciliations and accuracy. Conduct General Ledger reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy across the Group.

• Mandatory accounting books and registers. Maintain mandatory Accounting Books and Registers (e.g., Journal Entries, VAT Register, Fixed Assets Register).

• Audit and compliance support. Support audit, tax filings, and regulatory reporting to meet compliance standards.

• Financial analysis and reporting. Assist in financial statement preparation and analysis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

• Continuous improvement. Drive the implementation of improvements in financial operations and systems.

Your ideal profile:

• Relevant experience. At least 3 years of experience in finance or corporate services, with a strong background in general ledger and accounting functions.

• Accounting knowledge. Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and/or IFRS), ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.

• Proactive mindset. Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments, meeting tight deadlines with precision.

• Collaboration and autonomy. Excellent organizational skills, capable of balancing teamwork with independent execution.

• Problem-solving skills. Analytical and detail-oriented approach to solve financial challenges efficiently.

• Technical skills. Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel), with the ability to create and manage complex formulas.

• ERP systems. Proven experience working with ERP systems

• Languages. Fluent in Italian and English, ensuring effective communication within an international team
