Freelance Linguist/Translator - Italian (Italy)

We are looking for a freelance Linguist/Translator willing to engage in an exciting opportunity and be part of an innovative project.  
 

Role responsibilities 

• Evaluate Machine Translation (MT) output to improve MT technology
  

• Categorize errors of MT output

• Propose alternative translations of MT output

Role requirements

• Idiomatic fluency in the target language; Italian (Italy)

• 2+ years of translation/proofreading (against source language) experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Translation and Interpretation (T&I), Linguistics, or similar field preferred; or equivalent work experience

• Excellent English skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently

• Excellent time management
