Please submit your CV in English. Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refueled in orbit, and which carries cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented harness CAD designer for designing and documenting electrical harnesses of our spacecraft. In addition you will support the design team to design mechanical parts.

Key Responsibilities

• To create accurate 3D models and drawings of electrical harnesses on CATIA (or equivalent)
• To analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• To collaborate closely with design engineers and the avionic team in order to design the harness according to the requirements
• To create and maintain part libraries (3D models) for electrical harnesses
• To create and maintain technical documentation (flattening and formboards) a for electrical harnesses

What we would love to see from you

In the role of harness CAD designer ideally, you will have the following qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of industry standards for designing electrical harnesses
• Experience with CAD softwares (CATIA, Solidworks…)
  • knowledge on PLM tool and best practice
  • knowledge on CAD module specific for harness routing
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with design engineers
• Fluent in English.

• Strong organizing and prioritization of tasks
• Positive and flexible attitude to get the job done
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
