Head of IT Thailand

About the Job 

The Head of IT Thailand is responsible for the execution of transformation, change, delivery and run of IT services towards AZ Technology Thailand's internal customers.

The role is responsible for the delivery and operations of related AZ Technology Services covering applications and infrastructure.

The role reports functionally to Head of IT, Asia, and disciplinary to CEO of Allianz Technology Thailand.

What you do

• Manage customers’ IT plan including planning, budgeting, resourcing, in line with AZ Technology processes, being aligned with the customers’ planning cycles; ensure customers’ IT supply capabilities align with AZ Technology functions for OE service delivery


• Hold end-to-end responsibility for the production support services and its stability towards the customer, encompassing both application and infrastructure


• Establish governance across incident, change/release management with SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvements


• Manage the integration of the customers' local application services into AZ Technology's global delivery model, including driving decommissioning and harmonization of legacy systems, and adoption of AI-driven solutions


• Manage & align OE demands with IT functions inside AZT & Allianz Group to ensure compliance to group IT & business


• Accountable for execution of Gearshift Transformation program


• Responsible for P&L of all AZ Technology services delivered to the OE

What you bring

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including leading operations and/or engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.


• Proven track record delivering stable IT services and large-scale change initiatives


• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and service management, with experience defining and reporting SLAs, KPIs, and risk controls.


• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance requirements; ability to embed security by design.


• Expertise across modern infrastructure, networks, platforms, and enterprise applications; familiarity with cloud platforms and automation.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and people leadership skills, with the ability to influence at executive level and across functions.


• Knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
