What you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role;
• Strong team coordination and communication skills;
• Fluency in English and Italian;
• A knack for problem-solving and staying cool under pressure;
• A people-first mindset with a strong eye for guest experience and team wellbeing;
• Confidence with digital tools, booking systems, and hospitality tech;
• Previous hostel experience is a big bonus.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Square Lover by working closely with the Reception/Bar team and overseeing the Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams.;
• Being a daily point of reference for team members — ensuring tasks are clear, spirits are high, and operations run smoothly;
• Monitoring service standards, helping resolve guest issues, and keeping the Square vibe alive;
• Coordinating shifts, schedules, and workflows to keep everything moving;
• Assisting with admin tasks, reporting, inventory, and compliance with Italian local regulations.
