A little tasteof your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Responsible for greeting, seating,cloakroom and farewell at our Restaurant & Bar

Managing online Reservation system

Handling enquiry and reservations,by email and phone calls

Confirming reservations and largeparties with cc confirmation

Understand and accurately followthe standard sequence of service

Observe and maintain the dailycondition of all physical facilities and equipment in the , public area andmake recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.

Responsible to daily take-outorders over the phone or in person

Responsible for cash handling

Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests andoffer tailored recommendations

Understand all food and beverageitems ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, Focus on foodallergies and intolerance

Utilization of the POSsystem.

Observe and maintain the dailycondition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, andpublic area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed

Attend staff training

Reporting to Restaurant Manager / Assistant

Requisiti

What we needfrom you

Experience of 1 year or more in similarrole in a luxury / high end environment

Excellentgrooming standard

Ableto work under pressure

Friendly and positive with a flexibleapproach and confidence

Goodcommunication skills and genuine approach with our guests

Goodproblem-solving skills that will turn issues into opportunities, so every guestleaves with great memories

Fluencyin the Italian & English language - extra language skills would be great,but not essential

Familiaritywith Symphony PMS and Restaurant reservations system
