IT Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Responsibilities /Tasks

Business Consulting and Process Improvement

• Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, manual activities, reporting gaps, customer journeys, and automation opportunities.


• Analyse current state processes and design improved future state processes that reduce manual effort, improve control, and enhance user experience.


• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, process maps, solution designs, user stories, and implementation roadmaps.


• Advise stakeholders on the most appropriate digital solution approach, including Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, workflow automation, or integration with enterprise systems.

Power Platform and Business Applications

• Design and deliver end to end solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Copilot capabilities where applicable.


• Develop canvas and model driven Power Apps to digitize forms, approvals, field activities, operational workflows, internal service requests, and business processes.


• Build Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, escalations, reminders, document routing, task management, integrations, and exception handling.


• Design solutions that follow proper environment strategy, security roles, data loss prevention policies, naming standards, reusable components, and application lifecycle management practices.

Robotic Process Automation

• Design and implement attended and unattended RPA solutions for repetitive, rules based, and high volume business activities.


• Assess automation suitability by reviewing process stability, exception scenarios, data quality, business rules, controls, and expected operational value.


• Develop, test, document, deploy, and support RPA bots using Power Automate Desktop or other approved automation tools.


• Monitor automation performance, exceptions, bot utilization, and business outcomes to ensure sustained value after go live.

Business Intelligence and Data Analytics

• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and self-service analytics solutions that provide actionable insights for management and operational teams.


• Build executive dashboards, operational reports, KPI scorecards, drill through reports, trend analyses, and exception based reporting.


• Create robust data models, Power Query transformations, calculated columns, hierarchies, and row level security models.


• Work with Data, IT, and business stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting consistency, master data alignment, and KPI definitions.


• Support the creation of a governed reporting environment that balances self-service analytics with data accuracy, security, and ownership.

SharePoint and Collaboration Solutions

• Design and implement SharePoint based solutions for document management, controlled collaboration, workflow support, permissions, knowledge management, and process tracking.


• Configure document libraries, metadata, retention structures, approval workflows, access permissions, and collaboration spaces in line with business and compliance requirements.


• Improve the usability and adoption of SharePoint solutions through intuitive design, structured content, user guidance, and governance standards.

Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 of relevant experience in digital transformation, business applications, automation, analytics, enterprise technology consulting, or low-code development.


• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Dataverse.


• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions across multiple business functions.


• Strong experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including Power Query, DAX, data modeling, semantic models, drill-through reporting, and row-level security.


• Experience designing automated workflows, approval processes, notifications, escalations, integrations, and document management solutions.


• Experience with RPA technologies, preferably Power Automate Desktop. Experience with UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere is an advantage.


• Experience integrating solutions with ERP systems, SQL databases, APIs, SharePoint, Excel, cloud services, and other enterprise applications.


• Good understanding of Power Platform governance, environment management, data-loss prevention policies, solution lifecycle management, and security roles.


• Experience working with SAP data, SQL Server, Azure services, Snowflake, data warehouses, or enterprise analytics platforms is highly preferred.


• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, HR, or enterprise shared-services environments is an advantage.


• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-500, PL-600, PL-900, DP-500, DP-600, or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate are preferred.
