Position: Audiobook QA Expert — Italian
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15–$20/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Italian and evaluate the naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment of the narration.
• Identify and log errors in synthesized speech, such as skipped, added, or mispronounced words, incorrect numbers, and unnatural phrasing.
• Categorize issues and mark the exact span where they occur using our review tools.
• Report on listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural versus disruptive.
• Maintain attention to detail and consistency across extensive audio sessions.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian (Italy).
• Genuine interest in audiobooks with regular listening habits.
• Working knowledge of English for clear reporting and team communication.
• Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, or similar detail-oriented work.
• Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience with AI training-data, model evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
