About the Project and the Business
Our client is an Italian company, part of an international group specializing in clinical nutrition, food service and nutritional wellbeing. The company was born from a simple idea: to offer products that are nutritionally effective, but also good and tasty. Its mission is to address the ageing of the population and the rise of chronic diseases by improving the nutritional care of patients. Present in Italy since 2012 and operating nationwide, it works with hospital dietetic services, care homes, private clinics and catering companies. To support its growth, it is now hiring a Key Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Promote the sale of products for dysphagia and malnutrition across ASL and hospitals, care homes (RSA), elderly care centres and specialized clinics.
Meet with specialists: Dietitians, Dietology Physicians, Phoniatrists and Speech Therapists.
Follow and prepare the main public tenders, overseeing the drafting of specifications (capitolati).
Develop the network of prescribers and KOLs across the territory.
Independently prepare the budgets for the assigned regions, analyse KPIs and propose improvement plans.
Achieve the sales budget by managing established clients and new prospects, leading commercial negotiations through to closing.
Requirements
A degree in a commercial or scientific field (Dietetics, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology).
Solid experience in similar roles (indicatively 3 to 5 years); more senior profiles will also be considered.
Good command of the Office suite, in particular Excel.
Ability to work towards objectives, strong relationship and commercial skills, and autonomy.
Skills in clinical nutrition and/or nutraceuticals will be considered a plus.
