Job Title: Lead Specialist CX & Planning


Location: Barcelona, Spain


 


The role of Lead Specialist CX & Planning in Barcelona, Spain involves taking ownership of a strategic account, orchestrating end‑to‑end planning, inventory, and Order‑to‑Cash operations to deliver exceptional service. Acting as the single point of contact, you will build strong customer and stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvements. This role offers high visibility, real impact on customer satisfaction and efficiency, and strong opportunities for growth in a dynamic, multicultural environment.


 


Your key responsibilities



  • Take the lead and ownership on planning and customer care activities for one of our Strategic Accounts

  • Performs daily production schedules in line with the batch size and inventory policies

  • Keeps service levels and inventory alignment with the company’s targets

  • Efficiently process Order-to-Cash activities from order entry through order confirmation till delivery at customer site

  • Acts as a single point of contact for all inquiries related to service and supply chain

  • Builds customer intimacy by continuously capturing relevant information on customers’ business, organization, processes, and constraints

  • Monitors relevant indicators that measure the level of service and propose related action plans for service improvements

  • Builds an intimate relationship with dsm-firmenich commercial partners and stakeholders

  • Proactively seeks innovative ways to enhance customer's satisfaction and improve dsm-firmenich operating efficiencies

You bring



  • 3–5 years of experience in Planning and/or Customer Care within an industrial environment (ideally Flavors & Fragrances)

  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage priorities effectively

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and quick to learn new systems; SAP knowledge is a plus

  • Fluent in English with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-driven environment

  • A proactive team player and network builder with the ability to foster strong working relationships
