Legal Specialist

Galileo is looking for a Legal Specialist to join our fast-growing team in Milan, reporting to the GeneralCounsel of the Group.

What you’ll do:

• Support ordinary and extraordinary corporate activities.
• Provide assistance in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (e.g., intercompany, withclients, suppliers, partners).
• Participate in the review of contracts, policies and other legal documents ensuring compliancewith the Group policies.
• Provide advice in relation to day-to-day topics (e.g., IT, privacy, compliance, labour).
• Carry out legal research to support the Legal & Compliance function.
• Timely follow up to ensure documents are processed and archived in a tidy and timely manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

• University-level degree in law (Masters preferred).
• At least 1-2 years of previous experience in an in-house legal department of an internationalcompany or in a law firm dealing with corporate or commercial matters.
• A desire and a passion to contribute to the energy transition with a pan-European focus byjoining a company looking to develop renewable projects across different markets.
• Very fluent Italian and English; other European languages are considered an important plus. Familiarity with corporate governance processes and regulations and capability to deal withcorporate and contractual documentation will be a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, discretion in treating with confidentialinformation.
• A pro-active attitude towards work in general.
• Team player, with cultural awareness and curiosity, willing to work with other functions andmembers of the Legal & Compliance team on joint initiatives.
