As Smart Planning & Material Flow Specialist, you will support the implementation and optimization of digital tools aimed at enhancing material planning and flow production control across operations.

As Junior Material Specialist Digital, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the deployment and continuous improvement of digital tools and systems for materials planning and flow production control.

• Collaborating with planning, production, and IT teams to ensure data integration, accuracy, and system alignment with operational needs.

• Assisting in the monitoring of material availability, inventory levels, and production flow through digital dashboards and analytics tools.

• Contributing to the configuration, testing, and maintenance of planning tools (e.g., MRP, APS, scheduling systems).

• Supporting the identification of process gaps and inefficiencies, proposing data-driven improvements to optimize material flow and production performance.

• Collecting, analyzing, and validating data to ensure consistency across systems and enable effective decision-making.

• Participating in cross-functional initiatives to improve end-to-end supply chain visibility and responsiveness.

• Ensuring traceability and data integrity within digital systems supporting material management and production processes.

• Supporting training activities and user adoption of new digital tools and solutions.

• Complying with company policies and processes, including compliance, quality, production, EHS, HR & Admin, Lean, and digital governance standards.

To be successfull in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or demonstrated equivalent experience.

• Be able to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements

• Demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment

• Show effective problem identification and solution skills.

• Be fluent in Italian, both oral and written

• Show good knowledge of MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning systems

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills and fluency with the English language

• Strong interpersonal, leadership & influencing skills

• Display leading attitude for improvement and innovation initiatives

• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

• Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Training Knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, AWO, Kaizen, 5s and other lean tools is preferred.

For Italy:The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 36,000 To 49,500.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
