Mechanical Designer

Position Summary Under the direction of the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the resource work in project team following indication of Mech Project Leader and develop design of mechanical parts with different technologies (aluminium die casting, aluminium sheet metal, injection plastic, metal busbar). He/she design mechanical solutions based on incoming requirements, applying the company best practices for the development, and provides 2D-3D CAD drawings/calculations/documentation as output. Responsibilities:Provide 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings with dimensioning and tolerance to ensure form, fit and function at component and system level Develop and integrate CAD templates and methods into the design process.Supplier interface. Must have:Liaise and communicate with other colleagues, departments, customers, suppliers and other service providersDemonstrate good level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team membersDemonstrate initiative by reaching beyond assigned work to improve output and/or help others understand the technical nuances of product of expertiseWell organized and capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.Excel in a fast-paced team environment and be able to collaborate with engineering, suppliers and Project teams.Ability to react quickly to unexpected changes and competing priorities and deliver quality resultAt least 5 years of related experienceGood knowledge of CATIA V5, with a proven track record of utilizing CATIA to deliver layouts, models, assemblies and drawings.Tolerance analysis skills including arithmetic and statistical stack up techniques. Applied knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning & TolerancingProfessional use of Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of English Nice to have Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Previous experience in automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier.
