Your Responsibilities

• Define and maintain scalable, robust and consistent media architectures across BCE products and MaaS offerings.


• Design end-to-end media workflows covering ingest, processing, orchestration, transcoding, packaging, distribution, monitoring and delivery.


• Translate product requirements into actionable technical architectures aligned with MaaS principles.


• Architect cloud-native and hybrid media workflows across on-premise, public, private or sovereign cloud environments.


• Ensure integration of key media components such as encoders, transcoders, origin platforms, DRM, analytics, players and distribution layers.


• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Network and Operations teams during design, implementation, validation and delivery.


• Contribute to reusable, modular and automated media building blocks for BCE’s MaaS platforms.


• Evaluate relevant media technologies, vendors and architectures, and contribute to PoCs and technical validations.


• Define best practices, reference architectures and technical guidelines for media integration.


• Support complex troubleshooting and promote knowledge sharing across BCE teams.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Media Architect, Media Solution Architect, or similar role in a broadcast, OTT, or media services environment.


• Strong understanding of media workflows and technologies: Live and file-based processing - OTT and broadcast delivery - Transcoding, packaging, streaming protocols.


• Hands-on experience with cloud-native media architectures, including: Public or hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent) - Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).


• Solid understanding of API-driven architectures and workflow orchestration.


• Ability to bridge product vision and technical implementation.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional, international teams.
