The position

Quality Control Analyst at our site in Fornovo San Giovanni (BG) will be responsible for analysis that can be related to release of raw materials, intermediates or release and concerning stability program analysis, in compliance with the current quality, environmental and safety procedures, contributing to the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for the Boehringer Ingelheim group. The ideal candidate has skills related to chemical-physical analysis and analytical equipment (HPLC, IR, UV), preferred experience of working in a GMP environment.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Sampling and testing raw materials or finished products using current pharmacopoeias and current BI Analytic method in place with the application of any associated physical chemical test and instrumental techniques (HPLC, IR, UV)


• Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within The BI philosophy


• Observing and complying with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)


• Observing and complying with company Health and Safety Policies


• Observing and complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)


• Supporting all QC activities

Requirements

 

• High school chemistry diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is a plus 


• Committed to learning and development.


• Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)


• Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail


• Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team


• Native level of Italian language and B1 level of English
