IDS GeoRadar, part of Hexagon Group, provides products and solutions, based on radar technology that secures people safety in dangerous environments and prevents risk hazards in mining, civil engineering, and monitoring applications. The company is a leading provider of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Monitoring Radar solutions worldwide.

We are looking for an Operation officer & General secretary for our Pisa office for a time period of one year .
The resource will join the operations and general secretary office and will work closely with other IDS teams, coordinating with clients and shippers. He/She will need to verify the progress of shipments and ensure that the actions taken are following the procedures for shipping DGR and dual-use goods.
As a part of the General Secretary team, it will be important to respect the scheduled deadlines and taking care to manage incoming requests on time.

What we want you to do:

Entering clients, intercompanies orders

Invoicing clients, intercompanies orders

Sending order confirmation to the customers

Organization of shipment of clients, intercompanies orders

Export management including dangerous goods

Compliance with company standards and requirements for quality, health and safety and environment

Export management including dual use orders

General secretary

Desired Skills

We would like to see:

High School Diploma, scientific or from a commercial technical institute are preferred

Experience in working in business operations or sales operations

Basic knowledge of shipping procedures (definitive, temporary export and import)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Detail-oriented

Italian: perfect written and spoken communication skills

English: good written and spoken communication skills

Strong Excel knowledge

Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus
