Operations Specialist

The company is an international freight forwarding company seeking an Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Genoa, Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional looking to play a key role in managing international shipments and delivering excellent service in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from booking through final delivery.


• Prepare and manage shipping, transport, and customs documentation.


• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve operational issues.


• Communicate with customers, carriers, agents, and service providers.


• Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.


• Maintain accurate operational records and system data.


• Support cost control, operational efficiency, and service quality initiatives.


• Work closely with commercial and operations teams to meet customer requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.


• 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations.


• Experience in ocean freight, air freight, road transport, or multimodal logistics is an advantage.


• Strong understanding of international transport processes and documentation.


• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• FIATA, customs, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus.
