Operations Supervisor

We are looking for a Operatiuons Supervisor to help us ensure effective workflow by supporting our team in Basiano (Milano).

YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE:

• Monitoring and managing daily operations, including freight scheduling, dispatching, and tracking to meet customer requirements and service level agreements.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all operational activities.
• Addressing and resolving operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and customer concerns, in a timely and effective manner.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the freight operations.
• Maintaining effective communication channels with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure smooth coordination and information flow.
• Preparing and analyzing operational reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Distributing efficiently and effectively work among team members.
• Ensure high levels of employees’ performance, motivation, and engagement.
• Leading and developing the team through shadowing, coaching and continuous feedback.
• Being a role model of Company’s Purpose Promise and Values (PPV)
• Complying with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality standard, Ethical code, and central procedures.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• You have proven experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
• You are proficient in relevant software and technology used in freight operations
