What you will do

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist – Outbound & Distribution to strengthen the outbound logistics team in Haier Europe.
The ideal candidate has a solid background in outbound logistics and distribution flows, preferably gained in manufacturing, FMCG, consumer electronics, 3PLs or logistics service providers. The role will focus on managing and optimizing distribution flows from Italian warehouses to customers, ensuring service level accuracy, cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
The candidate will be expected to monitor performance, analyze logistics data, anticipate risks and proactively support corrective actions to improve service levels and transportation efficiency. A strong analytical mindset and good system/data skills are essential, with the ability to transform operational data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders. We are also looking for someone skilled on the systems and data side, able to collect, normalize and correlate data coming from multiple sources (brokers, carriers, freight forwarders) and transform them into clear, actionable dashboards for management. Knowledge of Power Query, or other data management tools is a strong plus.

Detailed activities and Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and coordinate outbound logistics flows from Italian warehouses to customers, ensuring alignment with service priorities, delivery windows and customer constraints.

• Monitor and control outbound logistics KPIs related to 3PL performance, service level, inventory availability, customer appointments and transportation efficiency.

• Supervise direct delivery (DD) flows from factories and deep-sea shipments, maximizing their usage where economically and operationally convenient.

• Monitor and control Freight-Out logistics costs, supporting cost analysis, budgeting activities and ad-hoc analysis on logistics economics.

• Coordinate with Demand Planning and OTD and all internal stakeholders on stock transfers and allocation priorities to ensure optimal inventory positioning.

• Act as a key interface between warehouses (3PLs), carriers, HQ Planning, Quality, Product Line and OTD to ensure operational execution of outbound operations.

• Support data collection, and analysis from multiple sources (3PLs, carriers, internal systems), building clear dashboards and reports for management.

• Proactively identify risks impacting service levels or costs, escalating issues and proposing alternative solutions when needed.

What you need to succeed

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Supply Chain or similar fields

Previous Experience: Experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain roles, preferably in outbound distribution or warehouse-to-customer flows.

Languages: Fluency in Italian, and English.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP/TMS systems is a strong plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sharp attention to detail.

• Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving approach and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

• Stress resistance and ability to anticipate issues rather than react to them.
