In the role of Pastry Commis at Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, you will support the Pastry team in delivering refined dessert experiences that reflect the hotel’s farm-to-table philosophy and commitment to quality. Working alongside experienced pastry professionals, you will contribute to the preparation and presentation of desserts and baked goods, while developing your technical skills in a structured, high-standard kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Pastry team in the daily preparation and presentation of desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Follow HACCP, health, and safety regulations at all times, reporting any issues when identified.
• Collaborate with kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow.

• Previous experience or training in pastry or bakery, preferably in a professional kitchen environment.
• Passion for pastry arts and a strong interest in developing technical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and openness to learning and receiving feedback.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
