Pizzaiolo | Season 2026 | Villa Sant'Andrea, a Belmond Hotel

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pizzaiolo to prepare delicious, high-quality pizzas that adhere to our established recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Italian cuisine, excellent dough-making skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

Main duties: 

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to our recipes and customer specifications. 

• Master dough preparation, including mixing, kneading, and proofing. 

• Prepare all pizza ingredients, including sauces, cheeses, and toppings, ensuring freshness and quality. 

• Monitor inventory of pizza ingredients and communicate needs to the Executive Chef. 

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations. 

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient operations. 

• Handle customer requests and special orders with professionalism and accuracy. 

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all pizzas. 

• Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures. 

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role  

• In-depth knowledge of pizza making techniques, including dough preparation and cooking methods. 

• Familiarity with various types of pizza and Italian ingredients. 

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 

• Excellent time management and organizational skills. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

• A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team. 

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
