About the role

We are expanding our dealing team to support the trading and post-trading activities of our Discretionary Portfolio Management business. This team will also be responsible for supporting our online investing platform for our retail clients. As a Head of post trading services, you will be crucial in this team's success. You will manage and optimize our settlement process with the primary goal of enhancing our settlement procedure and ensuring strict compliance with best execution policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth process in all the post trading activity
• Respond to counterparty query and reconcile position with counterparty
• Monitoring the settlement process against counterparty
• Manage the Group liquidity to optimize revenue to make sure counterparty are settled regularly. 
• Monitoring and improve the general efficiency in settlement process and monitoring of settlement costs
• Support the team in the execution and monitor orders for our Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) business.
• Support the team in all the reporting and analytical tasks
• Oversee and support orders for the new online trading platform.
• Evaluate and measure the performance of new counterparties.
• Setting up and approving new financial instrument 

• A minimum of four years of experience in a middle office environment with some exposure to the execution activity
• Deep knowledge of financial market functions and investment products, particularly ETFs.
• Deep knowledge of the settlement mechanism and procedure in particular for listed instruments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal.
• Excellent Excel skills and the ability to write code or build queries in MySQL.
• Previous experience in fintech, wealth management is required
