Job Description

We’re looking for a Power Origination & Structuring Director to join one of our Italian offices (Milan or Rome ). This role will be leading the sourcing, negotiation and structuring of complex contracts (Short and long term) to secure revenues to our renewable power portfolio. The role is also involving scouting, analyzing and implementing new opportunities on the environmental markets (carbon emissions, guarantees of origins etc).

Key responsabilities:

• Leading the origination team in Europe and collaborating with other regional teams on cross regional opportunities
• Successfully leading the negotiation and delivery of offtake agreements from renewable projects, meeting revenue, margin goals and target volume.
• Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to negotiate power contracts, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the organization.
• Develop innovative deal structures and recommendations that support financing negotiations, differentiate product offerings, and reduce collateral requirements.
• Continuously monitor traditional PPA markets proactively identifying opportunities from market-based hedge arrangements.
• Leading the identification of RFP opportunities and actively pursue PPA targets outside of traditional RFP processes.
• Leading the definition of strategies in alternative markets/products and opportunities

• minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

• knowledge of dispatching strategies, asset-backed trading, and risk management techniques in the energy sector.
• analytical skills to interpret market trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
• mindset, proactive attitude, ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• in English and Italian communication; proficiency in any other language is a plus.
• proficiency in MS office, particularly (but not limited to) Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Refinitiv Eikon
