Propulsion/Thermal consultant - 1 year contract [25107]

HE Space has joined forces with CS Group to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

To support our client activities  which cover the Heater-HPR (High Pressure Regulator) design, development, and testing up to the equipment TRL 6 test on an EM model you will have the following responsibilities : 

• Technical coordination of the HPR Heater activities;
• Perform the HPR Heater Concept Design (structural, thermal, and fluidic) and derive the requirements for the EM design and test
• Define the HPR Heater Verification plan;
• Design the HPR Heater EM;
• Design the HPR Heater EM thermal and fluidic test set-up;
• Define the HPR Heater EM Test Plan and Test Procedures;
• Procure the parts for and manufacture the HPR Heater EM;
• Test the HPR Heater EM in vacuum;
• Test the HPR Heater EM (in vacuum) coupled with the HPR EM;
• Produce the HPR Heater EM Test Report;
• Optimize HPR Heater Design with EM outputs;
• Update HPR Heater Requirements Specification. 

• Bachelor degree  in Engineering or relevant;
•  2-3 years hands on experience in design and testing;
• Experience with thermal equipment testing in vacuum;
• Experience with the design of heat-exchanger.
• Desired knowledge of Python, Matlab, LabVIEW and Ansys;  
• Capacity to work under strict deadlines. 
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

This job is located in Fino Mornasco, Italy
