Purchase Order Specialist in a nutshell

Join our team as a Purchase Order Specialist at Huawei Milan Research Center. As our Purchase Order Specialist, you will own the end-to-end procurement cycle for your assigned Business Units, ensuring timely delivery, accurate billing set-up, and strong supplier relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your procurement expertise to optimize global sourcing processes and directly support groundbreaking research initiatives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment!

What will be your main responsibilities?

• Manage general procurement activities based on the Business Units needs;

• Purchase order related documents preparing, suppliers supporting from the quotation to the billing configuration in the system;

• Monitoring the ongoing purchase order tracking, to ensure smooth delivery;

• Support contract management and Archiving.

What are the skills required for this position?

• University degree in Business Economics/Business Management/ Business Administration;

• More than 1-2 year of experience in procurement activities;


• Proficient with MS Office;


• Fluency in Italian and English, Chinese will be considered a strong plus;


• Good interpersonal skills combined with team spirit, experience with Asian business culture will be considered a plus;


• Autonomy, organization and structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
