The Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring the efficient acquisition of raw materials, components, and parts essential to ARAG’s production processes.
You will manage purchasing activities with a focus on cost, quality, and timely delivery, supporting the continuous improvement of the supply chain.

You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to support strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize purchasing processes.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and semi‑finished goods ensuring availability, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Support supplier scouting, qualification, and evaluation activities.
• Negotiate prices, lead times, and purchasing conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and production departments to align purchasing activities with business needs.
• Analyze data and KPIs using Excel and other procurement tools to drive decision‑making.
• Contribute to improving procurement processes, workflows, and supplier performance.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost‑saving activities.
   

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within industrial, mechanical, electronic, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in direct procurement: considered a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with solid proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related fields: considered a plus.
• Intermediate (B2) level of English.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive and structured approach to problem‑solving.
