Regional Sales Manager (Italy)

Flow Europe GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Flow International Corporation, Kent/Seattle (USA) and has own subsidiaries in Italy, Spain, France, UK and Czech Republic. The headquarter of Flow is in Germany.

As an international company with more than 50 years of experience and more than 15.000 installed waterjet and abrasive waterjet systems Flow is the world leader in development, manufacture and sales of ultrahigh- pressure (UHP) waterjet technology.

We are looking for the following person in Italy: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (m/f/d) 

Main tasks:

• Responsible for the achievement of Sales Targets, revenue and gross margin in the region.


• Actively win, retain and grow the business in Italy


• Establishing and maintaining a close relationship with customers, partners and suppliers.


• Managing existing customers and developing new business in target industries.


• Competently advise customers on the technical features and applications of Flow equipment’s and spare parts.


• Independently negotiate with customers within corporate guidelines.


• Negotiating prices and closing deals.


• Sales analyses and planning in cooperation with Marketing.


• Pro-active development, implementation and reporting of long-and short-term regional sales strategies and measures.


• Majority of working time spent “on the road” visiting customers.


• Budget planning.


• Creating a pipeline of leads and reaching out to new potential clients using various channels, including email, social media, and phone calls.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed commercial, industrial and business training/education or similar.


• Solid sales experience in Waterjet, machine tools or industrial equipment preferred.


• Sociable, structured, professional, friendly , independent, responsible and team player.


• Fluent Italian, good English, and any other Eastern European language is a big plus.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Negotiating skills, results driven.


• Entrepreneurial skill and ability to work in Team and independently.


• Demonstrated abilities in developing strong customer relationships.


• Pro-active, passionate about Sales.


• Willingness for regular travelling.


• Valid driver's license.
