Biometric Specialist

At Knowmad Mood, we are looking to hire a Biometrics Specialist to participate in high-impact projects, working with advanced biometric identification and verification systems in a highly technological, international environment.

The selected candidate will play a key role in the analysis, validation, and improvement of biometric matching systems, collaborating with various technical teams and the contracting authority.

What will your responsibilities be?

Analyze and maintain the configuration requirements of biometric matching systems, ensuring optimal levels of performance, accuracy, data quality, and transaction volume.

Interpret and verify the results of technical and performance tests.

Analyze results and propose improvements and future developments for biometric systems.

Train the Contracting Authority's staff on key biometric matching technologies.

Support other contractors in the implementation and testing of biometric functionalities and infrastructure.

Analyze and validate the testing contractor's results, identifying potential deviations from system SLAs (performance, biometric accuracy, and associated configurations).

What are the requirements?

Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience as a biometrics specialist.

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of core biometric matching technologies.

Experience with MBSS (Multi-Biometric Search Service – IDEMIA), including:

Biometric encoding (fingerprints, palm prints, facial images).

1:1 biometric verification.

1:N biometric identification.

Biometric quality algorithms:

NFIQ2 (fingerprint quality).

SFIQ2 (facial image quality).

Biometric Data Processor (BDP):

Biometric data processing.

Structural and semantic validation.

Quality assessment.

Use of the NIST Validator.

Application Orchestration Controller (AOC):

Biometric quality assessment.

Biometric accuracy calculation using caching mechanisms.

Multimodal fusion of results (e.g., face and fingerprint).

Ability to analyze biometric SLAs, verify performance and accuracy deviations, and evaluate the impact of configuration changes.

Experience and motivation to work in international and multicultural environments.

English level C1
