Set amid olive groves, cypress trees and rolling hills in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, Il Pelagone Hotel & Golf Resort is a family-friendly, year-round golf and leisure resort built around an 18-hole, par-71 course. Our guests come for the golf, the two restaurants, the pools and tennis courts, our wellness centre "La Toscanella," and easy access to the private beach in nearby Follonica.

To keep this resort priced right, sold through the right channels, and set up for a strong 2027, we're looking for a Revenue Manager to take full ownership of revenue management for the property.

Tasks

  • Take full ownership of revenue management for the resort: rate strategy, pricing, and forecasting across all room categories and packages (including golf and seasonal packages)
  • Manage and optimise pricing in our Revenue Management System, keeping rates accurate, competitive, and profitable
  • Ensure rate parity and consistency across all distribution channels — direct website, OTAs (incl. Booking.com), GDS, and tour operators
  • Own the channel management setup and coordinate distribution strategy across the channel manager and booking engine
  • Analyse demand patterns, competitor pricing, and market trends to inform pricing decisions and spot new revenue opportunities
  • Build and maintain accurate short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts and budgets, working closely with the General Manager and the Sales & Marketing team
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, pick-up, pace) and translate the numbers into action
  • Work closely with the marketing team on pricing and positioning for seasonal offers and packages (golf, wellness, family)
  • Support contract negotiations and rate agreements with tour operators, corporate partners, and OTAs
  • Act as the go-to expert on revenue strategy for the hotel's leadership team

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in hotel revenue management, ideally in a resort, golf, or leisure hotel environment
  • Hands-on experience with a Revenue Management System (e.g. RateBoard, IDeaS, Duetto, or similar) and channel management tools
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with pricing, forecasting, and performance data
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS systems is expected; experience with ASA or Mews is a plus, not a requirement
  • Fluent in English; Italian and/or German are a plus
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership, while staying in close day-to-day contact with hotel leadership
  • A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented way of working
  • Genuine interest in hospitality and the golf/leisure travel industry
