Rotating Equipment specialist

Belmont Lavan Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our rotating equipment, ensuring its optimal functionality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular inspections and proactively identifying potential issues with rotating equipment.
• Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of our rotating equipment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, alignment, and calibration, to ensure the reliability of the rotating equipment.
• Monitoring equipment performance indicators, conducting performance tests, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
• Training and mentoring junior technicians on maintenance and repair techniques for rotating equipment.
• Collaborating with external vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Rotating Equipment Specialist or a similar role in the Information Technology and Services industry.
• Strong knowledge of various types of rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, compressors, and turbines.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems and software for tracking equipment performance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
