The Sales Leader is responsible for selling company products and services to new and existing customers and agents or distributors within your region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As a Sales Leader you:
- Represent, promote and sell our equipment and solutions
- Proactively identify and acquire new potential customers in the Flexible Packaging and Offset Print market and other sectors beyond where our equipment could be deployed.
- Build and execute for your region strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition to expand our customer base.
- Discover new markets, products, and adjacent service opportunities within your territory.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing customers, agents and distributors to understand current and future needs.
- Make periodic visits to customers and support agents & distributors.
- Supporting the OEM Strategic Account Manager in the responsible territory
- Identify and analyze customer requirements to recommend a most suitable solution
- Are accountable for the timelines and the quality of the offers and orders
- Ensure customer satisfaction with excellent support, consultation, and presentation skills.
- Coordinate sales efforts with other departments; ensure customer purchase and service requirements are being met.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline progress in our D365 CRM system.
- Prepare short- and long-range sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territories.
- Work collaboratively with the sales leaders to establish quarterly and yearly fiscal performance order and margin goals.
- Set sales commitments, budgets, and sales/marketing strategies for the region.
- Maintain reports, records, files, logs, etc., pertinent to function.
- Participate in trade shows and other industry events to represent our brand
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience preferably in flexible packaging or Offset print industry market.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experiences
- Demonstrated track record of sales success (achievements, rankings, stats)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Proven experience in Capital Equipment and Technical sales, ideally with a background from the Print Industry within the Flexible Packaging or Offset Markets.
- Strong prospecting skills to gain new customer accounts.
- Experience a MUST for leading and developing agency sales programs.
- Excellent communication (verbal and in writing) in Italian and English, Fluent Spanish
- Ability to work independently and think strategically.
- Capable to execute strategies focused on organizational growth.
- Negotiating & Presentation Skills
- Commercial & Contractual know how
- Experience working in a matrix organization
- Proficiency in computer software applications and financial know-how
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally 50% of the time
