We are now looking for a dynamic and customer focused Sales Manager with a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the food and beverage industry. In this role you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and growth in a cross-functional team, implementing strategies, and fostering strong relationships with clients.
The role will be based in the south of Italy. You will be expected to travel locally in Italy up to 70%.
• Grow the business with existing customers and find new opportunities with new prospects in the area
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide tailored solutions and support.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and negotiations.
• Align with the extended sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Implement strategic sales plans to expand Tetra Pak's market presence and drive revenue growth.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
• A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or customer facing role
• Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in one or more of these industries; food & beverage, packaging producers, retailers or other channels.
• Fully fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel as needed
The successful candidate has a strong ability to understand and listen to customer needs, identifying business opportunities and translating them into clear value propositions. With a proactive and opportunity-driven approach, the candidate brings a strong hunting mindset and a genuine passion for winning new business.
Your communication skills are excellent as well as your interpersonal skills so that you can build long-term trust and engagement. You are a collaborative person who share your ideas and feedback. You are also a confident negotiator who can navigate complex discussions and drive results
You demonstrate a strong ability to work independently, taking initiative and full ownership of responsibilities. Your mindset is flexible with the ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and dynamic environments.
