Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders (clinical and non-clinical), including distributors
Increase penetration in existing accounts, develop them into potential new product and patient therapy opportunities, and develop actual non-buying accounts
Provide technical support to customers and support procedures when required (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists), ensuring consignment and stock levels are controlled per asset management guidelines and targets
Plan and prepare sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy, planning meetings, customer activities, and investments for the territory
Regularly update and report comprehensive information on accounts, market trends, and competitive metrics
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Life Sciences or other relevant degree
Knowledge of the medical device market (preferably Electrophysiology)
At least 5 years of selling experience in the medical device industry, preferably knowledge of the Electrophysiology market
Knowledge of the most important stakeholders in Electrophysiology market in Tuscany region is a plus
Fluency in English
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems applications in data processing
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationship
Result-oriented, problem-solving, team-oriented, and good communication skills
Availability to travel within the area of responsibility with frequent travel to other national/international locations as needed
