Type of contract:

• Fixed term contract for 6 months with the possibility of renewal
• You will be based at our plant in Italy - Ancarano (TE) 

As an Senior Accountant, you will be part of our Finance Accounting department and you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports (Local and US GAAP)
• Perform account reconciliation; troubleshoot and analyze discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax laws, and internal policies and procedures
• Analyze and verify internal consistency, completeness and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents; make adjustments, as necessary
• Responsible in preparing, adjusting and closing journal entries
• Audit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions. (i.e. Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse, etc.) and with external accounting service firms
• Coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure the Financial Statement and Tax return comply with local laws and requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economy or related field
• 3-4 years’ experience in audit and accounting
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Capacity to work on multiple projects and deadlines
• Capability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties;
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Italian
• Very good IT knowledge, in particular Excel
• Nice to have – Oracle knowledge
