Let’s Talk about the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Local Finance Manager and work closely with both the Central Finance team and our Shared Service Center.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and supporting the continuous improvement of accounting processes in a dynamic international environment.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Manage and review monthly financial reporting and support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors and external consultants

• Manage VAT returns (monthly and annual) and ensure compliance with local regulations

• Prepare Intrastat declarations and support tax calculations

• Coordinate with external tax advisors and monitor tax deadlines

• Support internal and external audits

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy

• Collaborate with Shared Services on transactional accounting activities

• Contribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controls

Skills for Success

• You will have a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• A minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a multinational environment

• You will demonstrate to possess a strong knowledge of Italian and US GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes)

• A solid experience in financial reporting and audit processes, a good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills

• You will be fluent in Italian and English

• You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
