Job Description

• Forge meaningful relationships with department heads and become a trusted Accounting partner, highlighting risks, documenting and/or building simulations and sensitivity analyses and suggesting solutions to problems as they arise;
• Provide business insights and recommendations to support business initiatives;
• Evaluate and apply internal controls to achieve accurate and efficient accounting systems and compliance with company, professional, and government accounting practices;
• Set up accounting processes in order to ensure full maintenance of the company general ledger, chart of accounts and all financial records;
• Liaise with accounting and tax advisors to gather pertinent support and assist on the preparation of financial statements including document preparation, integrity validation and reconciliation process;
• Coordinate and assist auditors during interim and fiscal year—end closing by responding to questions and resolving accounting issues that the auditors encounter;
• Ensure proper legal, regulatory and tax diligence with regards to Financial Statements closing with the support of external professionals;
• Develop policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the right level of confidence from a civil law, book-keeping and tax perspective directly or through third parties;

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting
• Advanced knowledge of any ERP software, experience in Oracle Netsuite a plus
• Native Level of Italian and proficiency in English
