Job Description

Scope

This role will be responsible for the accounting operations in all day to day activities and assist Financial Manage.

Responsibilities

• Day to day accounting activities
• General administrative tasks: contact with bank, customers, suppliers and all departments, in order to maintain a good cooperation and to interact on possible future problems.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements, intercompany statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy
• Assisting financial manager with month, quarter, year-end closing
• Monitoring and planning cash flow requirements
• Generate a variety of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Managing preparation of all financial reports & balance sheets
• Preparations of the budget
• Analysis of the budget versus actual results
• Process optimization
• Maintaining contact with auditors, tax specialists, banks and other finance related parties
• Assisting financial manager in day to day operations
• Replacing financial manager in case of absence
• Ensure all matters consistent with Global & company policies and Laws

Job Requirements

Qualifications / Experience:

• Higher Education; Accounting / Economics / Professional qualification
• >5 years experience Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
• •knowledge of different accounting software ( Microsoft AX would be a benefit, SAP, Oracle, etc )
• •knowledge of business languages: Fluent in Italian and English, excellent Excel skills
