Senior AI Platform Operations Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of enterprise AI services running on Azure. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong operations mindset, ownership mentality, and expertise in ITIL-driven practices.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  Azure service monitoring: Continuously track performance, availability, and health of AI workloads on Azure, using advanced monitoring tools to prevent downtime.

  
  


• 
  

  Incident & problem management: Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation to ensure service resilience.

  
  


• 
  

  Deployment governance: Oversee service rollouts, upgrades, and configuration changes with strict adherence to enterprise standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Operational optimization: Identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and implement improvements to strengthen system stability.

  
  


• 
  

  Security & compliance: Ensure AI services meet enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements, including IAM best practices.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Azure operations experience: 5–7 years in IT/cloud operations with proven expertise in Azure services.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring & incident management: Strong background in proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

  
  


• 
  

  Enterprise operations mindset: Familiarity with structured frameworks and governance models for enterprise-scale services.

  
  


• 
  

  Ownership mentality: Ability to take accountability for service health and drive continuous improvement.

  
  


• 
  

  ITIL expertise: Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their application in enterprise operations.

  
  

 Nice to Have

• 
  

  Experience in AI service operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of Entra ID / IAM for identity and access management.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks.
