Senior Automotive Exterior Designer

Our client, a leading global ICT service provider, is recruiting for a Senior Automotive Exterior Designer to join their business in Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Generate automotive exterior design projects, actively participating in all stages of the process to create competitive and successful solutions.

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of the design activities, working from initial concepts through to production -ready designs, ensuring high -quality outcomes.

• Bring strong creative enthusiasm and attention to detail, focusing on refining design solutions and exploring innovative ideas.

• Collaborate with external design resources to enhance team capabilities and actively participate in joint projects and partnerships.

• Communicate and present internally design concepts effectively, ensuring clear and consistent understanding.

• Develop a solid knowledge of the Chinese automotive market.

• Travel to China or other project related locations a few times per year to support projects, conduct benchmarking, and engage with the HQ design team.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Design.

• At least 8 years of experience in design, gained within a top -level agency or an in -house design team.

• Proficiency in 2D/3D design techniques, including sketching and rendering.

• Advanced skills in Blender for 3D modeling and rendering.

• Proven record of following up clay models, both in small or full scale.

• Interest in and experience with AI tools to improve design quality and efficiency.

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates design solutions across different business sectors.

• Proven ability to handle small design teams, or willingness to take on leadership roles for specific tasks.

• Strong conceptual thinking and problem -solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• A team player who can also work independently, with a positive and proactive attitude.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required, knowledge of Chinese will be considered a plus.

• Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.
