Senior Coordinator Inland Delivery Team

The Senior Coordinator Inland Delivery Team will manage truck and rail transport operations for Hapag‑Lloyd Italy, preparing transport orders, tracking deliveries, and handling exceptions. You will act as the central liaison among customers, carriers, terminals, customs, ports and internal stakeholders to guarantee smooth cargo movement and accurate cost handling.

• Arrange and schedule inland transport by truck and rail for import and export shipments
• Prepare and release transport orders in the system, ensuring data accuracy
• Monitor shipment progress, identify delays or exceptions, and initiate corrective actions
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, terminals, customs, and ports to resolve operational issues
• Track carrier performance, equipment availability, and transport constraints to support optimization
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in shipment documentation and invoicing
• Maintain compliance with customer requirements, vendor agreements, and service standards
• Support accurate calculation, allocation, and invoicing of inland transport costs
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with broader logistics strategies

• 5–6 years of experience in an operational role, preferably inland transportation
• Strong interest in international trade and logistics
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish
• Fluent English proficiency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
• Effective problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Salary and pay transparency

In accordance with the principles of pay transparency and equal opportunities, the indicative salary range for this position is between €32,000 and €40,000 gross annual salary. The final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and professional profile.
