Senior IT Functional/Business analyst Procurement and QME

Function:

Barco is seeking for a skilled and motivated Senior IT Functional Analyst for Procurement and QME to join our SAP team. The IT Functional Analyst is responsible to analyze and design the solution based upon the business requirements and to support the solution afterwards.

We are looking for someone with knowledge about the SAP S/4HANA modules used for Procurement and QME.

After our move to SAP S/4HANA, we want to evolve to a fit2standard and clean core based on industry best practices. The IT Functional Analyst plays a role to safeguard this evolution. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Stream lead for Procurement and QME
  
  
  
  • Capture and prioritize the business demands and requirements in your business domain
  
  
  • Lead translation of the business requirements into solutions, while keeping the balance between architectural fit, long term viability and the possibility to stick to standard processes
  
  
  
  


• Create the functional analysis and design for projects and changes in collaboration with the team, based upon business requirements and following the fit2standard and clean core approach.
  
  
  
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates as-is business processes
  
  
  • Supports the creation or create the technical design and configuration
  
  
  
  


• Support implementation and validation of approved business requirements
  
  
  
  • Create the system and integration test cases, the test plan and ensure the execution of the system and integration tests
  
  
  
  


• Support the business in creating and executing the user acceptance testing


• Follow up and support the go live and aftercare of the system changes


• Responsible for providing 3rd line support in his/her areas of responsibility.

Education:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Economics or Engineering, or equivalent

Experience:

• Deep understanding of business processes in Procurement and QME


• Deep knowledge about the SAP S/4HANA modules for Procurement and QME


• > 10 years of experience as Functional Analyst
