Senior Manager (m/f/d) Data Management & AI Adoption (Europe/ Africa Region)

Your Tasks:

• Responsibility for building and leading the regional (European African Region) Data & AI organization, as well as developing a scalable service portfolio for data and AI solutions


• Leading, developing, and motivating the team according to the principles of the Toyota Way, as well as responsibility for sustainable organizational development


• Ensuring the secure, scalable, and efficient operation of regional data platforms, including data governance, compliance, and technical standards


• Managing the regional Data & AI product portfolio from ideation and prototype development through to launch, scaling, and performance measurement


• Fostering innovation through the operation of data and AI sandboxes, managing the Innovation Hub, and supporting go-to-market activities


• Advising national subsidiaries on data and AI initiatives, as well as overseeing vendor management, contract negotiations, cost control, and SLA management

Your Profile:

• Degree in computer science, business administration, or a comparable field


• More than 10 years of professional experience in IT or data roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership role with responsibility for cross-functional teams


• In-depth knowledge of modern data platforms, AI technologies, data and AI governance, technical architectures, and regulatory and compliance requirements


• Proven experience in managing budgets, negotiating complex supplier contracts, and translating technical requirements into strategic business cases


• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills at all levels, including top management and C-level


• An agile, innovation-oriented, and risk-aware leader with a strategic mindset, strong execution skills, and a particular focus on the responsible use of AI


• Fluency in spoken and written English
