What you will do

The Senior Product Manager – EMEA is responsible for defining and executing the strategic product/brand roadmap across the EMEA region for a portfolio of three internationally established brands. The role leads a multicultural team professionals and acts as a key interface between the European organization and global headquarters in China.

This position combines product portfolio management, strategic brand leadership, business development, and cross-functional team leadership to ensure sustainable growth, market relevance, and profitable business expansion across the region.

The role serves as a pivotal link between the strategic planning in Europe, the global headquarter in China, and the regional Business Management functions in Europe, ensuring alignment of product, portfolio, and growth strategies across the EMEA region.

In particular, the resource will be involved in the following activities:

Product Management and Range Building

  • Actively participate with the Planning Department in the development and management of product portfolios and category roadmaps for the EMEA market.

  • Define product range strategies based on consumer insights, market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and financial objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with Planning, R&D and Business manager to ensure successful product development and launches.

  • Build competitive range architecture optimizing revenue and profit realization

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from opportunity identification through commercialization and phase-out.

Brand and Portfolio Strategy

  • Co-Develop and implement the long-term strategic vision for three international brands across the EMEA region.

  • Co- Define brand positioning, value propositions, and portfolio architecture to maximize market penetration and profitability.

  • Ensure product - brand consistency while adapting strategies to regional market dynamics and consumer needs.

  • Drive competitive analysis and identify emerging market trends to strengthen competitiveness.

Business Development and Growth Opportunities

  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and growth drivers across the EMEA region.

  • Build together with the Business Manager robust business cases and lead cross-functional initiatives to bring opportunities from concept to execution.

  • Support strategic projects aimed at accelerating revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability improvement.

  • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions when required.

Team Leadership and Organization Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 professionals across product management.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, build a winning mindset and focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Build organizational capabilities and succession plans to support future business growth.

  • Promote effective collaboration across regional and local teams.

International Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between Haier Europe and global headquarters in China regarding portfolio, product strategy, and business priorities.

  • Influence and align multiple stakeholders across international, cross-functional, and multicultural environments.

  • Ensure regional market requirements are effectively represented within global product planning processes.

  • Facilitate communication and decision-making between European and Chinese teams.

What you need to succeed

Must have

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Professional Experience: 10 years of experience in Product Portfolio Management in a multinational industry/environment producing Global Brands. Ideally a previous experience in people management.

Technical Skills:

  • Significant experience in Project management

  • Significant experience in Brand Management, Product Management, Category Management, or Marketing Leadership roles within international organizations.

  • Proven track record managing multi-brand portfolios and product strategies across multiple countries.

  • Strong analytical, commercial, and financial acumen.

  • Business Development

  • Consumer and Market Insight

Soft Skills:

  • Strong people leadership experience managing medium-to-large teams.

  • Experience working within matrix organizations and international environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic growth plans.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • Cross-Cultural Collaboration

Languages: Fluent in Italian & English; additional European languages are considered a plus

Employment Type: Permanent Contract; Full-Time

Level: B3

National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL): Metalmeccanici Privati

Minimum Gross Annual Salary: € 50.000

The position includes access to an individual or collective variable incentive scheme based on the achievement of predefined performance objectives (KPIs); alternatively, any additional variable compensation components or benefits will be governed by the applicable company policies.
