We have created an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in Nouvelle Aquitaine, France, and we are building gigafactories in Germany and Italy, in addition to the one already built in Hauts de France. Overall job definition :

HSE management system and standards design and deployment

Cross functional role :

With site team from quality system, operational excellence system and all entities from the company

Main missions :

Referential implementation

- Provide high levels of support and guidance to the site team to ensure the ENV compliance, performance and culture at site.

- Provide guidance and coaching to the site leaders to build and maintain an environmental culture ensuring they are all able to run their ENV process to ensure standards, engage associates, track action data entry and completion and verify compliance.

- Take part in the deployment, the implementation and the improvement of ACC ENV referential (Process, Initiatives, Procedures, Essentials, audit check-lists, KPI, dashboards, ...) in collaboration with the site and the Corporate HSE Team.

Technical and regulatory support :

- Provide support on technical and regulatory issues related to the Environmental and referential documents for Extra-financial reporting.

- Develop and facilitate forums for knowledge and sharing of ENV best practices and standards along with the general implementation of the Corporate’s OHS programs and Initiatives at site level.

- Investigate ENV. accidents, near misses and any incidents to find the root causes and implement solutions to reduce this type of events.

- Permitting : supervise processes, review and validate documentation.

Tools :

- As part of the deployment of the HSE global software,

o Be a driving force in implementing the tool and integrating relevant new safety modules at site

o Collaborate with the Corporate HSE Team for the HSE global software developing and updating, providing feedbacks and inputs

o Be a “trainer” at site to support the deployment

o Define and provide tools (software, application, training…) to support the deployment of ENV processes at site.

ENV. Management system: write (in collaboration with the site HSE manager) , implement and animate

Undertake ENV. aspects and impact assessments as required and implement and follow up a control measures and monitoring plan accordingly.

o Implement the validated tools and organize the deployment and training of the teams

o Define (with the collaboration of the HSE manager), deploy and animate the ENV roadmap at site

Audits and certification

- As an internal auditor, take part in the internal and cross site ACC Referential assessment program and contribute to monitor

Reporting

- Ensure a proper ENV reporting process by completing daily metrics and callouts from the shopfloor.

- Update internal records regarding incidents, near misses and accidents, and the relevant action plans.

Profile

Knowledge :

Experience in ENV management system (ref. ISO14001) .

Experience in management of “AIA” process

Experience :

10 years of experience in high-risk industries as ENV Engineer/manager in plant.

Qualifications :

Graduated from Master degree (Technical or Engineering)

Desirable: Master’s degree in EHS management

Well organized

Adaptability to change: agility and resilience

Writing and communication skills

Strong initiative spirit

Teamworker

Some extra skills which make the difference :

Previous experience in the battery or the automotive industry

Previous experience in an OHS management system

Previous experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
