The Solution Integration & Implementation Manager plays a critical cross-functional role within a telecommunications organization, acting as the bridge between customer and technical delivery units. Their core responsibility is to ensure that customer requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into actionable technical specifications that are fully aligned with the capabilities, constraints, and roadmap of existing products and platforms.
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
o Collaborate closely with customers and solution architects to gather business and functional requirements.
o Conduct gap analysis between customer needs and available product features.
2. Translation into Technical Specifications
o Translate business requirements into clear, unambiguous technical documentation, workflows, and use cases.
o Ensure specifications are detailed enough for development, provisioning, and operational teams to implement.
3. Alignment with Product Features
o Validate that customer expectations are feasible within current product capabilities or identify necessary customizations.
o Liaise with product management to assess roadmap alignment and flag required feature enhancements when needed.
4. Process Design & Optimization
o Design or refine end-to-end business processes to support the implementation of the required solution.
o Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to streamline delivery and operational workflows.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
o Act as the focal point between sales, engineering, product management, IT, and service delivery teams.
o Ensure consistency in understanding across all stakeholders and manage traceability of requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
6. Documentation & Governance
o Produce and maintain business process documentation, technical specifications, and change requests.
o Ensure that all specifications comply with internal standards, customer contracts, and regulatory requirements.
7. Support During Implementation
o Provide subject matter expertise during solution deployment and testing.
o Act as the escalation point for requirement-related clarifications or issues during delivery.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Deep understanding of telco products, services, and OSS/BSS systems
• Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
