Solutions Pursuit Manager (Metering), Europe (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Solutions Pursuit Manager (Metering) to join our Solutions Business Center Europe team. The Solution Business Center is a regional team with team members located in different European countries and supporting customers throughout Europe and Central Asia. The current position is based in Cernusco sul Naviglio, Italy.

What is the role about?

In this role, you will drive revenue growth by identifying high-value capital projects and leading solution-based sales initiatives in metering applications. You will define winning strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions to customers across Europe.

You will work closely with Sales Centers and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the global solutions strategy and maximize business impact.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders within Sales Centers and the Solution Business Center to develop and execute a solutions business plan for the defined focus applications, regions or industries - in alignment with global solutions strategy and the agreed local targets


• Lead the identification, qualification and development of solutions project opportunities to grow the Solutions Business for the assigned focus topics within the Solution Business Center Europe region


• Develop and implement active pursuit strategies and tactics to grow and manage the project pipeline, and to secure new business in order to reach the given targets


• Build and drive international project pursuit teams, facilitating growth in the given business area


• Analyze and qualify customer opportunities, tenders, and specifications, prepare budgetary quotes, and draft metering system architectures. Ensure delivery of complete technical and commercial packages to the customer


• Provide technical presentations and participate in technical discussions, clarifications with the customer on metering and related solutions


• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer challenges, and the competitive landscape


• Build and maintain a professional network within Endress+Hauser as well as externally

What do we expect from you?​

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred)


• 10+ years of experience in technical sales, project management, or business development in industrial automation or process industries


• Proven experience and competence in custody metering, metering solutions and flow measurement technology


• Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and major capital projects.


• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills


• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management methodologies


• Strong commercial acumen and ability to align solutions with customer needs and business goals.


• Proven ability to develop and lead cross-functional pursuit teams along the full sales lifecycle of a project.


• Strong relationship-building skills, stakeholder management capabilities and customer focus.


• Deep understanding of industry trends, technical solutions, and competitive positioning.


• Willingness to travel regularly
