We are looking for a Sous Chef for the next season (spring/summer 2024) to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
He/She will Report to the Executive Chef.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen brigade and in creating and preparing menus Coordinating food production and controlling food quality, taste and presentation of dishes Ensuring adherence to all health, safety and security procedures Collaborating with all F&B departments: Restaurant, Banqueting, Room Service, Bar Compliance with quality and service standards
Requirements
Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background Other requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in the same role in a fine dining restaurant (Michelin star is a plus) Fluent in English and Italian Outstanding leadership skills Flexibility and excellent efficiency in working under pressure Benefits

Settore Turismo - Level 2, Sous Chef Start date: May 2024 to End date: September 2024, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path.
