Stage extracurriculare ambito automotive - New product launch

Manpower divisione Onsite ricerca per multinazionale specializzata in ambito automotive sita in Torino Nord una risorsa da inserire in stage come new product launch specialist. La risorsa si occuperà di:

• Assures that new developed products and product changes meet the manufacturing objectives regarding quality, cost, and launch timing.
  
• Facilitates all aspects of launch program between Platform Management, Product Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering
  
• Supports initiative definition from early stage requiring a design for manufacture to all platform functions.
  
• Guarantees the correct level of front loading and plant readiness during the different phases of the launch.
  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate to specific platform meetings as representative from Manufacturing

- Regular project review with management and direction

- Drive the process of design reviews and design verification in close co-operation with manufacturing engineering and product development.

- Coordinate with manufacturing engineering and plant the timely establishment of Manufacturing Capital and Launch Expense

- Validate the final Manufacturing Capital and Launch Expense in close collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering

- Approve the different orders raised by manufacturing engineering and the plant, validating the correct project allocation and need

- Monitor and respect the Manufacturing Capex and launch cost program targets achievement

- Cooperate with Plant Launch Managers for monitoring and related reporting (launch kit) in all development phases of industrialization program,

including the assessment of impacts on the process due to product changes

- Validate plant readiness included parts availability, tooling progress, manufacturing training plan, changes to program timing, and quality for

design & manufacturing builds up to and Job1.

- Evaluate and monitor new product ramp up curves.

- Challenge plants and manufacturing engineering on logic and justification of investments.

- Provide support for plant during times of critical product launch.

- Support the plant in the improvement of its’ launch capability as defined in the launch scorecard audit

- Support Manufacturing Engineering to define footprint strategy.

Requirements: - Engineering background and Knowledge of engine applications on commercial vehicles
- Strong relational leadership
- Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English
