Join our team! We are looking for a Junior Thermodynamic Designer Intern. This internship position, based in the Technical Department, will support the Datacooling Minifactory & Special Products Development function, working closely with the company tutor.

🔍 About the role

You will be involved in the thermodynamic design and validation of units for the cooling and heating of fluids for HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) applications.

In particular, you will support the team in the following activities:

• select and verify components of the refrigeration circuit;


• liaise with mechanical and electrical designers to ensure the correct design of the       units;


• carry out feasibility checks on special offer requests;


• provide relevant information for the quotation of complex special units;


• handle the maintenance of internal documentation supporting production;


• handle the maintenance of internal technical documentation;


• Interface with suppliers to identify suitable components for the application;


• Follow the production process of units to facilitate their realization according to the expected standards of safety, performance, quality and delivery time.

You will follow the order management process throughout its entire development. You will primarily interface with the technical sales support function, the production, the purchasing department, and the Product Managers.

🎯 Requirements and skills

• Master’s degree in energy engineering or Master’s degree in mechanical          engineering


• English and Italian languages: fluent in both written and spoken form.


• Office, in particular of MS Excel.


• Knowledge of Excel VBA (macro), Matlab, Any thermodynamic simulation      software
