For the opening of the new exclusive Akira Back restaurant, The St. Regis Rome is recruiting for a Steward.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the role will form part of the AB Restaurant team, which takes pride in engaging with our guests and creating exquisite moments.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

•    Cleaning bar and restaurant equipment and carrying out washing tasks safely and responsibly

•    Cleaning of work areas

•    Monitoring stock levels of glassware, cutlery and operational equipment

•    Compliance with current food hygiene and safety regulations

•    Adherence to brand standards and company or hotel policies and procedures

•    Waste management in accordance with legal requirements

•    This role requires adherence to quality assurance standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

•    A team player with a flexible and positive attitude.

•    A passion for the hospitality industry.

•    A positive outlook and outgoing personality.

•    Availability to work late nights, weekends and public holidays, as we operate 365 days a year.

•    Previous experience in this role

•    Understanding of kitchen organisation and standards within the luxury hospitality sector

•    Willingness to work day and evening shifts

•    Knowledge of the Italian language
